6 Reasons why you should stay in Chillax Flashpackers Boracay

When you are a Digital Nomad, you are blessed to work anywhere in the world with just your trusty laptop and a decent wifi connection. But even with this, you might as well work in a place where it inspires you to do more.

And for this segment, I’m gonna feature a nice hostel in Boracay. Without further delay, these are 6 Reasons why you should stay in Chillax Flashpackers Hostel.

*Disclaimer: this is not a paid feature.

Sense of Humor

Sense of Humor

Arriving at Chillax might not be Chillax at all. I mean, the reception is at the top of Mt. Chillax.

But I really like the sense of humor posted on every “milestone” step. Just look at the picture. (Don’t worry. You get a free drink at the top.)

And this sense of humor is embodied with their staff and the general feel of the place.

It’s very… well. Chillax. Hahaha!

(Btw, I don’t know if I’m hallucinating from the “hike”. But why are the spelling for some words for each sign wrong? Who knows?)

The Food

The Food

Of course, if it’s Miko Around the world, food should be a highlight. And though simple, the free breakfast here is quite filling. And it looks good too!

I also tried their Thai Curry for dinner. It was really good.

Mini Pool and Chill Areas

Mini Pool and Chill Areas

If you’re looking for a party hostel, this is not it. And that’s perfect for me! I like it peace, chill, and relatively quiet.

In this place, you can just chill around along the mini pool or the multiple bean bags in the area. Pretty much bum around before going to the beach, roughly a 15-minute walk to station 1.

Movie Night

I have been to many hostels already. And I haven’t been to one with a movie night projector outdoors! It’s either you watch the stars while you lie down a bean bag.

Or watch Uma Thurman finally Kill Bill. Define chill!

Casper, The Moody Dog

Dogs are man’s best friend. And if you’re traveling alone, maybe a dog is all you need to be happy.

Casper has been entertaining guests in Mt. Chillax with his barking and fetching skills for God knows how long. Just be wary though. He decides to play when he feels like it. I mean. Just watch the video.

But when he does, you can expect to play all day long.

WIFI & Generator

WIFI and Generator

And for the most important part, THEY HAVE A DECENT WIFI CONNECTION AND A POWER GENERATOR!

And I tell you, I have been to hostels promising they have internet, but come on 2G internet is not even usable. On the other hand, Boracay’s electricity gets cut-off every single day. I don’t know why. For Digital Nomads, this means irate clients and unnecessary stress.

Luckily, they have a fully functional generator to power the property. Worry not, the Gods of Mt. Chillax can just snap their fingers: “Let there be light”. (Or at least internet and some charging sockets.)

There you have it! If you’re a digital nomad or just want cheap and chillax place in Boracay, Chillax Flashpackers might be for you!
